District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced that on Thursday, December 8, 2022, transient defendant June Glandros (DOB 04/10/96), was sentenced to 21 years in state prison. In September 2022, Glandros was convicted or pled guilty to several counts, including the charged gun allegations, for three separate crimes that occurred in 2021 and 2022.

District Attorney Erik Nasarenko has announced a no contest plea was made today in the case involving Bijan Nickroo (DOB 09/27/87), of Simi Valley. Nickroo, a teacher and coach at Simi Valley High School when he committed sex crimes on students, pled no contest to luring, oral copulation of a minor under 16, possession of child pornography and multiple counts of contact with the intent to commit child pornography crimes. Throughout the investigation by the Simi Valley Police Department, 28 known victims were identified.

District Attorney Erik Nasarenko has announced charges against a Camarillo man accused of embezzling from a Ventura business where he worked as an operations manager. Gabriel Garcia, of Camarillo, is charged with grand theft, fraud and 19 counts of forgery. He pled not guilty at today’s arraignment.

An in-depth investigation by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife identified a large poaching and wildlife trafficking organization referred to as the “E-Bike crew.” The “E Bike crew” conspired with one another and Lizette’s Market to fraudulently reprint hunting licenses and tags for the purpose of unlawfully poaching wildlife. All seven defendants pled guilty to two or more felonies ranging between 180 and 220 days in jail, as well as a two-year probationary period.

District Attorney Erik Nasarenko has announced the arrest of Daniel Montano (DOB 02/15/94), of Camarillo, by the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigation and the Camarillo Special Enforcement Detail. Montano, a real estate agent, has been charged with one count of grand theft and 14 counts of forgery.
