VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Island Packers Corporation, of Ventura, entered a settlement with the District Attorney’s Office following an unlawful deposit of toxic substances into the Ventura Harbor in April 2020.

On February 3, 2021, Johnson pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted to personally using a knife.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that 4JR Enterprises, Inc. (4JR) and its owners, Ahed and Rhoda Rabadi, of Los Angeles, entered a $100,000 settlement agreement for a history of noncompliance related to the operation of underground storage tanks (USTs) at their Ventura County facilities.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced that new charges have been filed against Jacob Anthony Caliboso (DOB 04/25/99), of Oxnard, in Ventura County Superior Court case number 2020017676. The new complaint alleges two violations of of second-degree murder and two violations of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated for the killing of Elva Andrade and Neveah G.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Andrew Nicholas Payan Knight (DOB 4/19/93), of Los Angeles, pled guilty to ten felony counts of conspiracy, identity theft, and grand theft.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that George Edward Malone, Jr. (DOB 7/20/68), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 24 years 4 months in state prison for the death of Paul Blevins, Jr., also of Oxnard. On November 10, 2020, Malone pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted an allegation that he personally used a knife in the commission of the offense. Malone also pled guilty to unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle, and that he had suffered a prior serious felony conviction.
