VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that the prosecution of David Michelson (DOB 02/07/47), of Newbury Park, ended due to Michelson’s death at a hospital in Los Angeles County on March 5, 2021.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Jason Armenta (DOB 03/06/01), of Oxnard, has been charged with the murder of Cristobal Gonzalez, of Oxnard. The complaint charges one count of murder and one count of attempted murder. Both charges include the special allegations that Armenta personally used a firearm in the commission of the crimes, and that the crimes were committed for the benefit of, or in association with, a criminal street gang.

Hernandez was sentenced to 12 months probation, 20 days jail, and 10 hours community service by Judge Gilbert Romero.
